Hey, Toronto! Take a break from the daily grind and come espresso yourself at Toronto’s biggest Specialty coffee-only festival ever.

Following the inaugural sold-out edition in Vancouver, Beanstock Coffee Festival will showcase the best of Canada’s Specialty Coffee scene on the waterfront of Downtown Toronto on Saturday May 26th, and Sunday, May 27th, 8AM to 6PM at 245 Queens Quay West, Harbourfront Centre. Limited tickets are available at www.beanstockfestival.coffee.

Beanstock takes pride of being welcoming and open to the public to encourage attendees of all ages and coffee preferences to come to the festival.

Each session-based ticket provides unlimited coffee samples from 35 of Canada’s top roasters and cold brew companies. With each ticket purchase attendees receive a free bag of coffee from a roaster of your choice as well as one of the popular Beanstock ceramic coffee mugs. All attendees also gain access to free Espresso, Latte Art, and Cupping Classes.

There will be a home coffee brewing equipment store, local food, beer/wine/cocktails, and DJs in addition to all of the caffeine. Additionally, Beanstock has partnered with the Specialty Coffee Association to host the official Canadian National Barista Championships (think Barista Olympics) and a Coffee Education Centre with unlimited public access all weekend for all attendees.

“Toronto is considered one of the quickest growing cities for coffee culture in North America and is gaining a global reputation for producing incredible coffee and cafe experiences,” said Grant Gamble, festival co-founder of the festival. “Beanstock is our chance to show off our specialty coffee craft and connect with people who not only love a great cup of coffee but also cares where it comes from.”

Created by an independent group of industry professionals from the coffee community, Beanstock will play host to roasters from across the country. Expect to see local favourites including Pilot, Propeller, Demello Pahletta, Station Cold Brew and more, as well as the opportunity to meet the creators and learn more about third wave coffee culture. There will be over 20 espresso machines serving free coffee from the Beanstock roasters.

“Beanstock Coffee Festival is the first event of it’s kind,” said Dusty Smith of Agro Roasters, Vancouver participant. “This is a true festival and celebration of coffee culture and a rare opportunity to taste, meet, and interact with the best in the business. Let’s be real though, who doesn’t love a great cup of coffee?”

Additional info – Beanstock is a not-for-profit initiative to raise awareness of Specialty or Third Wave Coffee.
