Fly to Cabo from Toronto for less than $600

Fly to Cabo – Everyone (or almost everyone) has been to Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, maybe even Tulum. But, Los Cabos, located on the other side of the country sounds like a dream destination for lots of us. It’s further, it’s less accessible, it’s more expensive… it depends. Luckily for us Torontonians, there are weekly direct flights to Cabo from Pearson Airport for less than 600$ round-trip.

The Cabo Arch

Los Cabos, located at the tip of the 1,000-mile long Baja Peninsula, is one of the world’s most diverse tourist destinations. With its dramatic desert backdrop and its coastlines of the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez, Los Cabos is home to award-winning resorts and culinary offerings considered some of the finest in Mexico. The two towns that make up Los Cabos are San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas; which spans a 20-mile corridor lined with luxury properties, golf courses, oceanfront restaurants and shopping.

Sea of Cortez

How to get there from Toronto

Sunwing offers two weekly non-stop flights for less than 600$ roundtrip during the month of December. Fun fact: contrary to what people think, you don’t have to book a vacation package with Sunwing, you can book the flight only. Another myth is that it’s cold in Cabo during “winter”. In fact, the months of January and February are indeed a little colder, but rarely less than 24 degrees. November and December are a great time to go because of the low prices and the still comfortable temperatures. The flight from Toronto is less than 5 hours and, once in Cabo, most of the hotels and accommodations are located less than 30 minutes from the airport. Many Hollywood stars chose Cabo as their second home, due to its proximity and similarity with California. It’s very safe and very worthy.

What to do:

There’s 5 must see/do when you visit Cabo :

The distinctive landmark of Cabo San Lucas is The Arch ( El Arco) , a rock formation that erupts from the sea at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez.

Lover’s Beach (Playa Amor) is a small but popular beach that is only accessible by boat. Connected on the other side and facing the Pacific Ocean is Divorce Beach.

There are many luxury world-class resorts and hotels in Los Cabos. And, since it’s the capital of extravagant living, you definitely have to embrace the Cabo lifestyle once there. Paradisus Los Cabos is one of the few luxury all-inclusive resorts on the peninsula. The hotel is brand new as it only opened last March after being closed for 2 years of renovation after Hurricane Odile. It now offers 350 sophisticated and lush hotel rooms, with 98 in the Royal Service that includes butler services and exclusive sections, 7 restaurants, 4 pools, a luxury spa, a 24-hour gym and daily yoga and fitness classes. A great option if you want to live the luxury lifestyle… the all-inclusive way.
