Christmas tree lighting at Scarborough Civic Centre

The City of Toronto is hosting a Christmas-tree-lighting ceremony at Scarborough Civic Centre on Friday, December 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. The event will take place in Albert Campbell Square, 150 Borough Dr. 

Deputy Mayor Michael Thompson (Ward 21 Scarborough Centre) will act as master of ceremonies for this free, family-friendly event. Features include: 

free photos with Santa (bring a camera) 
free cookies and hot chocolate (while quantities last) 
free ice skating and music 

Everyone is encouraged to show their generous holiday spirit by donating an unwrapped toy for the Mayor’s Toy Drive or a non-perishable food item for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
