Cote St. Luc Senior Men’s Club donates to the Italian earthquake relief fund

Former President of the Cote St. Luc Senior Men’s Club, Peter Sternberg, appealed (actually challenged) the members of the club to contribute money while at the clubs regualer weekly meeting, for the Italian earthquake relief fund.

Sternberg said however much money was raised by the members, the club would match it dollar for dollar.

Within a fifteen minute period, six hundred dollars was raised, which meant the club would match it and that a twelve hundred dollar check was formerly  presented to Santino Quercia, Direttore Generale, Italy Patronato I.N.A.S.-Ufficio Centrale (left) is shown receiving the twelve hundred dollar check for the Italian earthquake relief fund from Vincenzo Maietta (right), representing the Men’s Club.
