Icefest Returns To Toronto This Weekend for Canada 150

The annual Bloor-Yorkville Icefest is coming back this weekend for the 12th year in a row. It will be on from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 and 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017. This year, the theme will make sure to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.

There will be 20,000 lbs of ice shaped into multiple different sculptures throughout the village of Yorkville Park. On Saturday, the Annual Sassafraz Ice Carving Competition will place in the village at noon. There will also be ‘ice kiddie cubes’ for children, treats at the Maple Taffy Station, food vendor tents, and an Icefest Lounge.
