Momentum Builds as sponsors and performers are confirmed for the 17th Annual Twas the Bite Before Christmas community event in Mississauga. The Turkey Dinner Fundraiser returns on December 2, 2025, with an inspiring lineup of community sponsors, live performances, and exclusive auction experiences — all supporting Food Banks Mississauga, Compass Foodbank Mississauga, Seva Food Bank, and Armagh House.
Taking place at Le Treport this year, Twas the Bite Before Christmas was also selected as the 2025 recipient of the George Carlson Heritage Legacy Award, recognizing nearly two decades of impact in supporting hunger relief and strengthening community connections across the city. Support continues to grow for the 17th Annual Twas the Bite Before Christmas Turkey Dinner Fundraiser, as local businesses, sponsors, and performers unite once again to fight hunger in Mississauga.
This year’s event lands on GivingTuesday — December 2, 2025. As the opening day of the giving season. GivingTuesday is a global movement reminding us that generosity is a gift we all share.

This year’s lead sponsors include Port Credit Community Foundation, Century Audio Visual, Insuranceland Inc., and TD Wealth Management. Their support will help expand emergency food access and essential services through Food Banks Mississauga, The Compass Foodbank, Seva Food Bank, Armagh House, and other partner organizations that support vulnerable families throughout the region.
Founded in 2009 by Dan Meadowcroft, Frank Bailey, Ellen Timms, Charles Sousa and Pat Anderson the ‘twas the Bite Before Christmas Foundation helps support hungry families in the city of Mississauga.

Headlining this year’s entertainment is Pink Leather Jackets, a high-energy local band known for powerful live performances and community engagement. The evening will also feature local choirs performing Christmas carols, bringing a meaningful and festive atmosphere to the event.
