Barrie GO Train service interruption slated for Thanksgiving weekend

TORONTO, Oct. 11, 2024 – Good morning and TGIF! On Thanksgiving weekend, from Saturday, October 12 until end of day Monday, October 14, train service between Maple GO and Allandale Waterfront GO stations will be temporarily suspended. Regularly scheduled trips will continue to operate on the Barrie line between Union Station and Maple GO.

GO buses will run between Maple and Barrie

For customers travelling beyond Maple GO, replacement GO buses will run to Barrie Bus Terminal (Routes 65M, 68K, 68L, 65G). Buses are also available for customers travelling southbound to Union Station from stations beyond Maple GO.

Additional GO bus options

Additional GO bus trips will be available between Highway 407 terminal and Aurora GO.

King City GO Station on Tuesday Oct. 15:

Please also note that on Tuesday, October 15, GO trains will bypass King City GO until mid-afternoon, with southbound train service resuming at 2:11 p.m. and northbound service resuming at 2:39 p.m.
