Cake Cabaret Kicks off Festive Season with Holiday Spectacular Shows

TORONTO, December 3, 2025 — With Christmas exactly one month away, Toronto’s iconic performance venue Cake Cabaret is kicking off the festive season with its wildly entertaining Holiday Spectacular. Returning for a special run that also marks the venue’s one-year anniversary, the 19+ burlesque-inspired experience blends dazzling performances, Queer and body-positive energy and a playful sense of fun that sets the tone for the most magical season of the year.

Starting December 5, Cake Cabaret’s Holiday Spectacular will take over the stage for a limited festive run of eight shows through to December 31. With tickets on sale now, guests can expect the shows to deliver a signature blend of burlesque, dance and theatrical flair, promising a glamorous night of sparkle, sass and showbiz.

“Cake Cabaret was born out of a love for performance, inclusivity and the need for a little bit of cheeky fun,” says Natalie, co-founder of Cake Cabaret. “Our shows celebrate body diversity, Queer-positive energy and Toronto’s remarkable local talent: feather fans, sequins and all! Our Holiday Spectacular shows are designed to celebrate the joy of the season in a space where everyone feels welcome to laugh, cheer and dance the night away!”

Founded by brother-sister duo Natalie Borch and Grant Van Rensburg, Cake Cabaret offers a uniquely indulgent twist on a night out with its menu featuring only one item: cake, in all its decadent glory. Guests can savour a variety of sweet creations that pair perfectly with the venue’s full bar service, making dessert not just a treat, but the centrepiece of the evening’s experience. Whether it’s layered, frosted or filled with surprises, every bite embodies the playful, cheeky spirit that Cake Cabaret is known for and each piece will leave guests wanting more.
