Alto Open House: Shaping Canada’s Future with High-Speed Rail

Alto’s high-speed rail project is changing the game for Toronto residents. Designed to meet the growing demand for safe, reliable intercity rail, the project aims to improve the passenger experience while expanding access to affordable and accessible travel options for Ontarians.

Alto is hosting two Open Houses at St. Lawrence Market – North Market, 93 Front St E. on February 4th and 5th. The public are welcomed to learn more about transformative high-speed rail, that will shorten travel times, strengthen connections between people and communities, and create new job opportunities. By shifting more travellers to rail, the project is also expected to lower greenhouse gas emissions while driving economic growth and boosting the Canadian economy.

Attendees can drop in at 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on both days to speak directly with project representatives, review materials, ask questions, and share feedback. No registration is required, and admission is free.
