Evergreen’s Holiday Market kicks off on December 17 at Evergreen Brick Works
TORONTO, ON., December 10, 2021 – Evergreen’s Holiday Market is back and opens Friday, December 17, 2021 through to Wednesday, December 22. Evergreen Brick Works is a festive family Holiday season experience where you can shop local craft and vintage goods, skate on the picturesque outdoor skating rink, listen to live music and enjoy tasty and toasty eats and drinks.
Evergreen’s Holiday Market, presented by Toyota Canada, takes place in the TD Future Cities Centre, in the heart of Toronto’s reimagined historic brick factory. The Holiday market open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m, is recognised as one of the city’s largest sustainable holiday markets. It features a rotation of over 40 artisan and vintage vendors, showcasing unique gifts ranging from paper goods, clothing and textiles to handmade jewellery, pottery and original artwork.
Toyota Canada will be on-site hosting an interactive Corolla game and those who participate will receive a complimentary gift.

Get ready to lace up – Also, starting December 17, once again at the Brickworks there is Free public outdoor skating on the picturesque skating rink. The cosy rink weaves through snow-covered gardens under exposed beams from the roof of the old brick factory. BYOS (skates) or rentals are available at $5 a pair. Skating is scheduled to return Friday, December 17, 2021 from 5 – 9 p.m. (weather permitting.)

What else is happening at the Brickworks
Live at BMO Atrium, the Cultural Performing Arts Series brings free music and dance performances designed to spark joy, celebrate the resilience of the human spirit, inspire creativity, and deepen connections between our communities. Evergreen welcomes Tafelmusik for an intimate chamber concert featuring violinists Julia Wedman and Christopher Verrette on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 7pm – 8pm. HellaHelen and Chrissmiss Cherry, two of UforChange’s DJ Arts Program alumni liven up the skating rink in Koerner Gardens on Saturday December 18 and Sunday December 19. These shows are supported by the Bank of America.

Food and Drink at Evergreen Brickworks:
Stay for the food and drink. Local street fare from the food trucks and food stalls offer up eats from dumplings to arepas, gluten-free goodies to gourmet grilled cheese. On December 17 – 19, a selection of hot mulled cider, apple pies and will be available for purchase, by Supporting Sponsor Brickworks Cider.
Don’t forget to visit the new Enchanted Forest, a magical spot for a holiday photo opp, and the destination for trees, stocking stuffers, delicious treats and handmade gifts for everyone on your list. The Evergreen Garden Market, the on-site year-round shop, boasts a selection of locally-grown, fresh-cut Christmas trees.
