Get Geared Up at the Toronto Ski + Snowboard Show 2026

TORONTO, Oct. 14, 2026 – The first snowfall may still be weeks away, although some weather experts are saying the Super El Niño may put a damper on that; regardless, the upcoming ski and snowboard season is already taking shape in Toronto.

Canada’s biggest snow sports event and the GTA’s most important, the Toronto Ski + Snowboard Show, returns Oct. 23-25 to the Better Living Centre at Exhibition Place (yes, it switched to here a few years ago from the International Centre), bringing the latest in ski and snowboard gear, winter travel, technology, apparel, family activities, and expert advice together under one roof. Produced by the Canadian Ski Council, the Show is the official kickoff to winter in Toronto, whether you already have a favourite run or have never set foot on a slope.

It’s your one-stop shop to get stoked and prepped for the upcoming season of pow (he says optimistically).

“The Toronto Ski + Snowboard Show is about much more than buying equipment,” said Paul Pinchbeck, President and CEO of the Canadian Ski Council. “It’s a place to get excited about winter, ask questions, discover new possibilities, and find your own way to enjoy the season. Whether you’re a lifelong skier, a snowboarder, a family looking for something new to do together, or someone who’s simply curious, we want you to feel welcome.”

What’s new this year?

As always at the show, snow chasing enthusiasts can explore what’s new for the coming season, find Show specials, and check out exclusive reveals saved just for the Show. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Shop new gear and apparel: See the latest in ski and snowboard technology and winter fashion, including a retro-styled, sustainably made UK brand making waves across Canada.
  • Plan a winter escape: Connect with resorts and destinations. A strong Canadian lineup will showcase skiing and snowboarding closer to home, while destinations from Japan and Spain will inspire trips farther afield.
  • Get gear slope-ready: Pick up practical waxing and tuning tips from Peter Hibbard, known as “Coach Turbo.”
  • Find equipment at the Ski Swap: Easily the most popular aspect of the show, the Canadian Ski Patrol Ski Swap returns, hosted by the Canadian Ski Patrol Association. Proceeds support the organization’s work to keep skiers and snowboarders safe on the slopes.
  • Bring the family: Try a 45-foot putting activity, jump in the inflatables, or catch a movie away from the show floor.
  • Sip and snack: Enjoy food trucks on site and beer samples from Left Field Brewery, including a non-alcoholic option, with DJ KAOS keeping the atmosphere lively all weekend.
  • Catch the awards: On Friday evening, Alpine Ontario Alpin brings the excitement of ski racing to the Show with a red-carpet awards ceremony celebrating achievements in Ontario ski racing.

Don’t miss the Inspiration Sessions

The Show’s Inspiration Sessions feature stories and experiences from two Canadian Olympians and a member of the Canadian National Alpine Ski Team.

Through prerecorded interviews, visitors will hear from Toronto-born alpine skier Ali Nullmeyer and B.C. ski cross racer Reece Howden, who both represented Canada at the 2022 Beijing and 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games. Howden is a three-time overall World Cup ski cross champion, while Nullmeyer has earned multiple top-10 World Cup finishes and battled back from serious knee injuries.

National Alpine Ski Team member Kyle Blandford brings a local connection. Raised skiing with the Toronto Ski Club, Blandford has represented Canada at the World Junior Championships and earned a Nor-Am podium in super-G.

Canadian skiing legend and Olympic champion Nancy Greene Raine will also make a special appearance at the Show (subject to confirmation).

New to skiing or snowboarding?

For some visitors, winter already means skiing and snowboarding. For others, trying these exciting winter sports raises a lot of questions: What do I need? Where should I go? How do I learn? Is it really for me?

The Show is designed to help answer those questions. With resorts, retailers, industry experts, and experienced skiers and snowboarders all in one place, it offers a chance to explore the many ways to get outside and enjoy winter, whether that means heading to a local hill, planning a family ski day, or simply finding a new reason to look forward to the colder months.
