Gigantic candy-coated theme park opens near Toronto this summer

Sugar Rush Toronto is an immersive open-air candy themed experience featuring a giant sugary-themed adventure walk through 40,000 square feet of pure ‘Candytropolis,’ located in Lot 6 at Square One in Mississauga. It’s a perfect summer outing for families, couples and friends alike. On some days dog owners can even bring furry friends to wag their way through giant lollipops and watch live performances!

The candy-coated amusement adventure begins August 6 and runs until September 6 at the Corner of Duke of York Blvd & Square One Drive Thursday – Sunday from 11am – 11pm.

Following a successful run in Los Angeles Sugar Rush Toronto is a candy and selfie-lovers dream! This sickeningly sweet walk-thru experience is described as, featuring “colourful installations, one-of-a kind art displays, live performances, custom parade floats, and candy-powered interactions.”

Lighted night version of Sugar Rush Toronto

When the sun goes down, Sugar Rush lights up! The Lighted Night Version of Sugar Rush starts at dusk with times vary depending on date and sunset times.

Dog Friendly Dates at Sugar Rush Toronto

Because the event is entirely taking place outside, dog owners need not leave their pooch at home. There are several dog specific dates set aside for you and your furry friends to experience the sweet wondrous world of candy. Of course your dog must remain on lesah at all times. The Sugar Rush team say, “Our four-legged friends are part of the family! Bring your furry best friend with you on our pet-friendly dates! Aug 8, 13, 15, 20, 21, 26, 28, Sept 2, 5.”

Sugar Rush produced in aid of Epilepsy Toronto will operate with public safety always at top of mind, so capacity will be limited to only 60 guests per time slot in order to ensure social distancing.

Epilepsy Toronto is Canada’s leading source of support for people with epilepsy and their families. Dedicated to the promotion of independence and quality of life, the organization provides​ critical counselling and advocacy services to those in crisis, seizure accommodation strategies, and epilepsy ​awareness in the public at large.

Tickets for Sugar Rush Toronto are limited and advance purchase is required.

The gigantic candy-coated theme park is easy to find on the northwest corner of Square One’s parking area in Mississauga. It’s conveniently located right beside the MiWay bus terminal.

ADMISSION for is $24.99 for and adult pass and for a child pass (3-12yrs) it is $16.99
Children 2 and under FREE. You can also purchase a Family 4-pack – $75 (2 Adult + 2 Child Passes) or a Friends 4-pack – $85 (4 Adult Passes).
