On September 12, 2023 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines inaugurated its Toronto-Pearson renovated KLM Crown Lounge as part of a global project of improving the comfort and customer experience of its international lounges.

Situated within the international area of Terminal 3, the 575-square-metre lounge boasts a seating capacity of 161.  Its expansive 50-foot-wide window provides guests with a panoramic view of the runways and airport activities.

The main transformations in the lounge include a new front desk reception and a design review to streamline space and light. They also encompass several significant upgrades with comfortable and spacious furniture, with a touch of the distinctive KLM Blue. Beyond aesthetics, the furniture embodies sleek designs and ergonomic forms, incorporating sustainability with the inclusion of long-lasting materials and circular elements such as eco-leather and recycled materials.  The colour palette exudes natural warmth and prominently features the iconic KLM blue. Additionally, a curated display of KLM’s iconic miniature Delft blue houses is on exhibit.  Each house in the collection – 103 so far – depicts a real Dutch building and serve as a unique gift for the World Business Class passengers travelling on international flights. A new house is released each year to highlight KLM’s anniversary on October 7.
