Mind-blowing LEGO Exhibition Coming to Toronto

Experience a vibrant, brick-built world featuring over 130 artworks and stunning constructions opening at YZD on March 5

This Spring, young and not-so-young art and LEGO® fans in Toronto will have the opportunity to experience a vibrant and awe-inspiring celebration of colour and creativity at Art of the Brick, a contemporary art exhibition created by renowned artist and pop culture icon, Nathan Sawaya. Presented by global curator, producer and distributor, Exhibition Hub and in partnership with leading tech discovery platform, Fever, the immersive LEGO exhibition opens on March 5, 2026, at YZD, located at 30 Hanover Road in Toronto

Art of the Brick makes its Canadian debut on March 5, 2026 at YZD located at
30 Hanover Road in Toronto.

Spanning over 1,800 square feet, this mind-blowing exhibition will include original works by Sawaya, including whimsical pieces like a brick-built Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and a brand-new artwork created specifically for Toronto, inspired by the city’s architecture. It features larger-than-life reconstructions, hands-on discovery areas, and reimagined masterpieces like Michelangelo’s David, Van Gogh’s Starry Night and Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa

LEGO Exhibition Ignites Imaginations

Created by contemporary artist, Nathan Sawaya, Art of the Brick features over
130 artworks including reimagined masterpieces like Michelangelo’s David,
Van Gogh’s Starry Night, a brick-built Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and a brandnew artwork created specifically for the Toronto engagement.

Art of the Brick has delighted and inspired over 10 million people worldwide, including a highly successful run in Montreal. The exhibition features over 130 artworks and offers a unique opportunity to experience the fascinating world of LEGO art in an entirely new way. There will be interactive stations throughout the exhibition, such as a LEGO pool filled with thousands of bricks, a sketch and post area, photo AI, and many more ways for guests who are young and those young at heart to explore their creativity. 

The Creative Mind Behind the Exhibition:

Nathan Sawaya is the visionary behind the Art of the Brick. A former New York corporate lawyer with a passion for creating art in his free time, Sawaya completely transformed his career to dedicate himself to art and 3D sculpture. With his unique LEGO creations, Sawaya has inspired millions worldwide, elevating the colourful bricks to a recognized art form. He gained international fame in 2007 with his iconic piece, Yellow, and has received numerous accolades for his work.

Another highlight of the exhibition is the exclusive pop-up shop, offering a wide range of LEGO items and souvenirs. This includes limited-edition and exclusive collectables available only in connection with the exhibition. Fans can purchase these unique keepsakes to expand their collections.

The Art of the Brick will be open for a limited time, starting on March 5, 2026, at YZD, 30 Hanover Road, Toronto.
