No GO Train Service this Weekend Between Bramalea and Union Station, Lakeshore East to Run Hourly

TORONTO, March 26, 2026 — We have received some inconvenient news for anyone planning on taking the Kitchener GO line in or out of Toronto this weekend, especially annoying for those on this route headed to the Jays opening weekend games. Starting on Saturday, March 28, until end of service on Sunday, March 29, Kitchener Line rail service will be temporarily modified to accommodate critical track work. These track closures are required to make essential improvements to bring you better, faster and more frequent trips.

During this time, there will be no GO train service between Bramalea GO and Union Station.

Regular scheduled train service will continue to run between Bramalea and Kitchener GO.

  • GO replacement buses will operate at Bramalea GO to take customers to Hwy 407 Bus Terminal where they can connect to TTC Line 1 to Union Station.
  • There will be no GO Transit services at Bloor, Mount Dennis, Weston GO and North Etobicoke GO. Customers traveling to and from those stations are encouraged to use the TTC.
  • Regular scheduled GO bus routes will continue to serve Malton GO.

On Friday, March 27, there will also be some late-night service adjustments.
