Questrade lights up Toronto skies with massive sign

TORONTO, June 20, 2022 – Questrade Financial Group (QFG) last week unveiled a massive, 10 x88-foot digital eponymous sign on the roof at their headquarters at Yonge Street and Finch in Toronto. The company occupies five and a half, recently renovated floors in the iconic North American Centre.

While the sign installation itself is significant, the event represented something more – a truly Canadian success story of how an entrepreneurial company that started in the investing space in 1999 has grown to become Canada’s fastest-growing online brokerage firm with over $30 billion in AUM (assets under administration) in more than 1 million client accounts, and several global locations. The sign symbolizes the financial empowerment of Canadians and a company with a mission to help them become much more financially successful and secure and is a story about the people working at Questrade, who genuinely believe in this vision.

Speaking at the event, Edward Kholodenko, QFG president and CEO thanked the team of Questrade for creating and sustaining a great culture that makes Questrade a great place to work.

Edward Kholodenko, QFG president and CEO thanked the team of Questrade for creating and sustaining a great culture that makes Questrade a great place to work.

“This is the culmination of your amazing efforts,” he said. “QFG started as a company with just four people; today, we have grown tremendously. We are doing things differently because of our amazing people and culture. That sign is the result of what you do daily. Thank you all for your dedication to helping customers every day. It’s a big day that belongs to all of us.”

Over 400 staff and stakeholders chose to attend the outside lighting event in person. Despite offering flexible working options that allow staff to work either from home or office, the Questrade offices were a hive of activity, and an event livestream was implemented for those working remotely, and in international locations.
