A decision about evening classes will be made by 2 p.m. today.
TORONTO, January 15, 2026 — Due to the snowfall of 20-30 cm today in southern Ontario, Seneca Polytechnic has announced that some of its campus operations have been impacted by the major snowfall in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Peterborough.
All Seneca campuses will remain open but in-person day classes will move online today, where possible. A decision about evening classes will be made by 2 p.m. today.
Service Fair Postponed
The Service Fair at Newnham Campus will be postponed to a future date.
Services, including The Service Hub, will be available online. Athletic and recreation facilities, and test centres will also be closed.
No Shuttle
There will be no shuttle service between campuses and on-campus dining options will be limited.
Seneca says information about in-person services and when they will resume will follow. We continue to monitor weather conditions and will provide any additional updates through SenecaSAFE, MySeneca and social media if more campus operations are affected.
