TORONTO, ON – March 15, 2026 – Sugar Shack TO, presented by Redpath Sugar, has cancelled the second day (Sunday) of the festival due to unsafe wind conditions on the Toronto waterfront.
Their press statement reads:
“Environment Canada is reporting wind gusts of up to 70 km/h at the waterfront today, exceeding the 60 km/h threshold required for site shutdown under Harbourfront Centre’s safety regulations. As a permitted event on Harbourfront Centre property, Sugar Shack TO is required to comply with all venue safety protocols. The safety of our guests, vendors, and staff is our top priority.
“While deeply disappointing, this decision was not made lightly. We thank our guests, sponsors, and community for their understanding and continued support.”
