Sugar Shack TO Returns to Sugar Beach this weekend

TORONTO, ON – March 7, 2024 – Make it a sweet start to March Break at Sugar Shack TO, presented by Redpath, happening this weekend, March 9 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can expect a maple-infused weekend of winter fun for the whole family including Lumberjacks, games, live entertainment, activities and maple-flavoured everything.

Rain or shine, the maple’s fine. Sugar Shack TO is a rain or shine event, festival producers encourage visitors to dress and plan accordingly to weather conditions.

What to expect when you visit Sugar Shack TO 2024

·       Two Sugar Shacks serving up fresh Ontario maple taffy on snow, presented by Menkes. Taffy tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10 with cash and debit accepted onsite. 

·       The Billy Bishop Airport warming station with fire pits and a maple sugaring demonstration as well as Live acoustic entertainment by Liam Kearney. 

·       A variety of irresistible maple-infused eats including maple bao buns, maple fried chicken, maple coffee, maple empanadas, maple butter tarts and of course, delicious Redpath Sugar cookies.

·       Lumberjack shows by Tim Burr, the circus lumberjack performing heart-pounding displays, including fire, hatchets, log rolling and chainsaw juggling. Happening twice a day at 12pm and 3pm.

·       Pop up Zumba classes from Unity Fitness at 10:30am and 2pm each day.

·       Free maple butternut squash soup from the Canadian Armed Forces.

·       Test drive an epic lineup of electric vehicles from Ford Canada for a shot at Maple Leafs tickets.

·       Interactive activities, giveaways and games from partners including Waterfront Toronto and Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre.

·       Free general admission.
