Taco Fest, The City’s Tastiest Mexican Fiesta, Is Ready To Taco-ver Fort York
TORONTO, June 6, 2024 – Hey Toronto, it’s taco time! Well, almost. The city’s biggest, boldest and tastiest Mexican fiesta is back and better than ever, with Taco Fest Toronto touching down at Fort York from August 9 to 11.
Three sizzling hot days with Toronto’s most celebrated chefs
At the three-day extravaganza, Toronto’s most celebrated chefs will be serving up 250+ varieties of mouth-watering tacos, including delicious off-menu items and limited edition restaurant collabs. There will also be plenty of other Mexican delights, like fresh guacamole, Mexican street corn and piping-hot churros! To spice things up, Taco Fest will have Canada’s largest hot sauce bar with over 250 unique hot sauce flavours.
32 different tequilas!
For anyone looking to test their taste buds, there will be 32 different tasty tequilas to try out, ranging from smooth to smokey. (Pro tip: salt and lime always increase the fun.) Oh, plus a refreshing mix of margaritas, palomas and other specialty cocktails, for anyone hoping to beat the heat.
Salsa dancing lessons
But the party is only just getting started. Prepare for tons of can’t-miss experiences like salsa dancing lessons, live authentic mariachi bands, the Wholesale Club Guac School, and the ‘Jarritos Chill Zone.’
To top it all off, on the final day of the event, the public will have a chance to vote for the city’s “Best Taco.” The winning restaurant will receive a giant, taco-shaped trophy (and undisputed taco bragging rights).
