Umm, yes, you heard that right. It’s a coffee and pyjama skating party to close out The Bentway’s skating trail season.
The Bentway’s final day for the 2025/2026 winter season is March 8, 2026, which also coincides with the Daylight Saving Time change. So, as the clocks spring forward and claim an hour of sleep, The Bentway is giving it back with Daylight Saving Skate: a whimsical coffee-and-pyjama party on ice.
Ease into the time change with a hot coffee and a final celebratory glide along the skate trail before we say goodbye to the ice for the season.
Opening earlier
To help everyone embrace the time change, the Bentway Skate Trail will open an hour earlier at 11 am. Whether you glide, twirl, or coast, move at your own pace and savour the promise of longer days ahead.
Wear your PJs
And yes, pyjamas are encouraged! Break out the flannel onesies, slippers-over-socks, or robe-under-parka combos. Dress for comfort and embrace the silliness, this is your moment to reclaim that hour daylight saving time takes away!
