“We wanted to create an event celebrating everyone’s favourite summer drink, rosé wine!” says Lori Heller, The Rosé Picnic Event Organizer. “The Rosé Picnic team has been organizing food and wine events for over 20 years and realized that Toronto was missing a Rosé-inspired event in the summer. The first annual Rosé Picnic was in 2017, and after a two-year hiatus, The Rosé Picnic is back and better than ever!”

Heller talks about what guests can expect at this year’s event: “Guests will wine and dine on a premium selection of rosé wines, refreshing spirits, local craft beers, pink champagne, and gourmet food pairings by Chef Mark McEwan. But rosé isn’t all, there will be free ice cream from Baskin Robbins, cake from Carlo’s Bakery, life-sized lawn games, flower crown stations, a roaming fashion show from Revelle, and music from Toronto’s top DJs.”

Guests are encouraged to dress in pink and white.

“Yes, most guests dress in pink and white, which helps transform the venue into a sea of rosè-lovers in pink and white!” adds Heller.

The Rosé Picnic’s 2022 food and beverage program curated and catered by Celebrity Chef Mark McEwan

And where there is rosé, there is food! “Nobody does picnic fare better than The Rosé Picnic’s food and beverage program curated and catered by Celebrity Chef Mark McEwan,” adds the Event Organizer.

“This year Mark will be making Korean fried chicken tacos with gochujang, pickled cabbage & carrot slaw, sesame aioli, and avocado! Guests can expect delicious gourmet food from some of Toronto’s best chefs and caterers, designed for all palettes (gluten-free vegan, etc.) to delight and inspire – and pair perfectly with your favourite rosé wines. Outside food and drink is not permitted in the picnic.

General admission tickets do not include food and drinks. However, there will be many vendors giving away products and samples at the event. The Rosé Picnic is a cashless event.”

Along with dressing up in white and pink, be sure to pick up a flower crown from Crownista Blooms, as there are over 30 Instagram brand activities to experience and snap photos of!
