TORONTO, Oct. 13, 2022 – Winter kicks off on October 28 at the 50th edition of the Toronto Ski & Snowboard Show! Always an inspiration for ski enthusiasts to get ramped up to shred the slopes this upcoming season the Toronto Ski & Snowboard show is where snow lovers can check out the latest and greatest gear, peruse exciting ski travel opportunities and talk to experts to find the right equipment to maximise satisfaction while skiing or snowboarding.

The show, in its 50th year, runs for three days October 28 – 30 at the International Centre in Mississauga. The launch on October 28 will include an appearance by Canadian Olympic skier Erin Mielzynski, a 14-year veteran of the Canadian ski team.

More than 25,000 backcountry bandits and corduroy carvers are expected to “drop in” to the show to learn about the latest-and-greatest products, get the (snow)ball rolling on ski trip planning, find great deals with the many retail exhibitors, or participate in Canada’s biggest ski and snowboard swap. This is not only an exciting show to gear up for winter, but also to book your winter holiday or simply be surrounded by fellow snow worshippers.

Toronto Ski and Snowboard Show welcomes the return of Canada’s Largest Ski & Board Swap 2202: Over 2,000 brand new non-current & pre-owned skis, boards, boots & accessories will be available for purchase.

“The event offers one-stop shopping for everything related to skiing and snowboarding, from the latest skis, bindings and boards, to hot new clothing trends and interesting winter travel,” says Paul Pinchbeck, President of the Canadian Ski Council, which produces the show. “It’s the place to be for enthusiasts from all skill levels, including beginners who want to learn to ski and board and avid skiers eager to get back on the slopes.”

Highlights of this first in-person show after a two-year pandemic hiatus, include Canada’s largest ski and snowboard swap and several interactive exhibits for families.
