Classic rock legends, ‘80s icons, and nostalgic favourites coming to Toronto this year

If your music taste was shaped by vinyl, cassette tapes, and MuchMusic, 2026 is delivering one of the most packed live music calendars Toronto has seen in years. Okay, 2025 was also pretty darn good, but there is a lot to get excited about when it comes to nostalgic bands making stops in Toronto this year.

Canadian heavyweights like Rush with a new drummer, Triumph and the Guess Who are just a snippet of what major acts are coming to TO this year.

From Live Nation’s massive Budweiser Stage lineup to iconic venues like Massey Hall and Danforth Music Hall, plus casino shows and arena tours, here are the must-see concerts for Boomers and Gen Xers in 2026. The list will shrink and grow as the shows dates come and go, but rest assured if used to carry around a boom box back in the day, you will find some shows here to pique your interest.

And to channel J.D. Roberts (if you know, you know), I am spot on when I say, Toronto rocks in 2026!
