Toronto and the entertainment industry
Whether it be in Toronto and the entertainment industry or many other areas of the world, the impact of COVID has been great and affected many different industries in different ways. The entertainment industry is a clear example of this, with events having to be cancelled and postponed, in comparison to the online entertainment sector flourishing.
The online entertainment sector as mentioned has been seeing great success and much of this is down to the lockdowns and restrictions that have been enforced. That has led to huge success across online platforms such as allvideoslots.com, with these gaming sites in Canada being a popular go-to for many on evenings, as a form of entertainment. Other movie streaming services such as Netflix, have also been very popular throughout the last 12 months and this is set to continue moving forward. But as we return to normality, what are the top three things to do in Toronto for entertainment?
- Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
Unfortunately, still temporarily closed but this remains one of the most popular things to do for people visiting Toronto. It is located in downtown Toronto at the base of the CN Tower. It is home to over 20,000 aquatic animals and provides a stunning underwater adventure. It also has North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel and is a must for those looking for a stunning day visit in Toronto.
- CN Tower
The CN Tower is another that is a must see for visitors. It has award winning dining and entertainment inside and has been incredibly popular for over four decades now. You can rocket to the top in just 58 seconds on a glass fronted elevator, which provides a stunning view across the city. You can also do this on the LookOut Level, which includes floor to ceiling panoramic window walls and the world-famous glass floor and outdoors sky terrace and sky pod. It is truly a must see and another set to be hugely popular again, once restrictions have been removed.
- Hockey Hall of Fame
Another very popular thing to do in Toronto is to go and view the Hockey Hall of Fame speciality museum. You are able to honour the achievements of some of the greatest sports stars in hockey, in what is Canada’s national sport. It is an incredible museum and certainly not to be missed, if travelling into the city. The admission fee on the day is just $17 and you have plenty of time to look round the museum.
