Toronto’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will go ahead rain or shine – Parade Route

St. Paddy’s Day is a great day for the Irish and those who wish they were Irish! The Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade Society would like to remind everyone that the parade taking place on the day before St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday March 16, 2025 will go ahead rain or shine.

One of the most anticipated annual Toronto parades, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is sure sign that spring is just around the corner!

The festive event begins at noon on the corner of St. George and Bloor St West (near St. George subway station) and heads east on Bloor Street, turns south on Yonge Street and finishes at Dundas Street.

The entire parade is expected to last one and a half hours at any given point along the route.

Additionally there will be live entertainment, local dignitaries and 2025 Grand Marshal, Caroline Mulroney.

Access from the TTC subway can be made at the following stations: St. George, Museum, Bloor, Wellesley, College, Dundas.

Important note for parade participants

The start and staging area is near St.George and Bloor St, near the St. George subway station. The staging area will open from 8 am.

So get ready to kick up your heels, Toronto! The parade gets started on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 12 noon sharp and the Irish celebration continues until 1:30 pm.

Who hosts the Toronto St. Patrick’s Day parade?

The St. Patrick’s Parade Society are the custodians of a tradition to celebrate Ireland’s history, culture and heritage through entertainment. We are a not for profit, event staging organization, responsible for numerous Irish events throughout the year. We annually organize the Grand Marshal Ball, the St. Patrick’s Parade Lunch, Celtic Island, and Toronto’s St. Patrick’s Parade.
