MISSISSAUGA, Dec. 5, 2022 – It’s almost winter, which means the temperature is dipping and Jack Frost is nipping at our noses. With so many Holiday and winter events happening in the Toronto area it should be fairly easy to turn those frozen frowns upside down because the cold can be fun. Check out the below list of free, fun winter-inspired activities and events happening in Mississauga. They are also free for the entire family to enjoy.

Skating at Mississauga Celebration Square (MCS)

Mississauga’s largest outdoor rink is now open until mid-March 2023 (weather permitting). Stay cosy in one of the heated lounges located in the Amphitheatre or next to the skate rental cabin. The Square also boasts glowing public art works and amenities, including Passage – a massive immersive tunnel of light and sound that responds to movement. Download the site map. Lights! Camera! Empowerment! at Bradley Museum

Stop by to view an art exhibit that draws inspiration from The Conference of the Birds picture book by Alexis Lombard, adapted from the poem by Persian poet Farid Uddin Attar. This exhibit has been provided by DEEN Support Services. Learn more

Classes are 45 minutes and are designed to keep you active.
