Casa Loma’s Holiday Lights Tour and Christmas at the Castle Return Dec. 5 ’25

Back by extremely popular demand, Liberty Entertainment Group announce the return of its beloved Holiday Lights Tour and Christmas at the Castle programs designed by Creative Director Nadia Di Donato, opening on December 5 at Toronto’s most enchanting historical backdrop, Casa Loma.

Running through to January 2, including Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, the castle transforms into a festive wonderland filled with twinkling lights, whimsical décor, and family-friendly experiences brimming with holiday nostalgia.

“This season, we wanted to reimagine what the holidays at the castle could feel like — immersive, inspiring, and full of joy,” says Nick Di Donato, President & CEO, Liberty Entertainment Group. “Casa Loma’s beauty and history create the perfect backdrop for guests to embrace the magic of the season.”

Guests can lose themselves in the wonder of winter with two unforgettable experiences:

Holiday Lights Tour (daily, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.)

Wander through a breathtaking outdoor spectacle of twinkling lights, illuminated tunnels, and creative photo moments across Casa Loma’s historic gardens. Highlights include live performances by the Fire Guy, festive mascots like Olaf and the Winter Princesses, letters to Santa and the opportunity to take a photo with Santa while bringing him your Christmas wishlist.

Christmas at the Castle (daily, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.):

Step inside a storybook setting where every corner glows with festive cheer. Inside the castle, guests will stroll through lavish winter holiday décor — the 20-foot Great Hall tree takes center stage, surrounded by eight designer destination trees crafted by leading Canadian talents: Living Luxe Magazine & Amber Walker, Amanda Aerin, Jane Lockhart, Janice Fedak, Christine Spencer, Joseph Tassoni, Tisha Thompson, Uarda, and Flora Peng. Children can visit Santa’s Workshop, write letters to the North Pole, and watch live performances from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The festivities continue with live entertainment for all ages — from the Jambo Brothers’ acrobatics (semi-finalists from Canada’s Got Talent) in the Conservatory to the Knight Before Christmas swordplay and archery shows. Enjoy soaring holiday vocals by Soprano, Sara Papini and Amanda Orla, alongside a stunning aerialist performance, roaming mimes, mascots, and an interactive magician — bringing the holidays at the castle to life.

NEW This Year – Liberty Caffé

New this year, Casa Loma will keep the Liberty Caffé open after 4 p.m. during both the Holiday Lights Tour and Christmas at the Castle, inviting guests to pause and enjoy a family dinner or savour seasonal refreshments along their journey through the enchanting grounds of Casa Loma.

Adding to the spirit of giving, Casa Loma will once again host a toy drive for the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish Foundation. Guests are encouraged to bring a wrapped toy to donate, and $1 from every adult admission to Christmas at the Castle will go directly to the foundation.

This season, whether you’re sipping cocoa beneath the stars or taking in the grandeur of this whimsical historic site, Casa Loma invites guests to rediscover the joy of togetherness, tradition, and celebration.
