Driving in these conditions use extreme caution. Untreated surfaces like roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

The Periods of light freezing rain or freezing drizzle have begun at 9:30 om and as the temperature is expected to rise above the freezing mark early Sunday morning the risk of freezing rain will end.

Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
