TORONTO, November 12, 2024 – It’s the most wonderful time of the year when the Fall Cottage Life Show takes place alongside the Seasons Christmas Show, returning to the International Centre from Friday, Nov. 15 to Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024.  

Two for One!

One ticket grants access to both shows, whether you’re looking for cozy cottage décor or winter improvements to the cottage; or to get a jump start on holiday gifting and entertaining with time-saving tips, tricks and hacks, or both!  There’s plenty of inspiration to add a little magic to your home or cottage this season.  Plus – don’t forget to take a photo with Santa!

Seasons Christmas Show 2024


 
The Seasons Christmas Show is packed with talented decorators, chefs and stylists, who are brimming with resourceful ideas and time-saving tips for stress-free holiday entertaining and bespoke gift ideas for the “impossible to gift for.”  Find the perfect stocking stuffers or a unique handmade gift in from the Makeful Market; or get tips from leading experts including TV personalities Sarah Gunn and Lynn Spence as well as Chefs Jo Lusted and Thomas Armstrong, on everything from creative gift wrapping ideas to a show-stopping holiday tablescape, learning how to compose a gorgeous grazing board and entertaining hacks.

Back by popular demand, the hourly hands-on Make & Take Workshops hosted by local creatives will help visitors brush up on their DIY skills for the holidays and leave with one-of-a-kind gifts that will impress.

Fall Cottage Life Show

Located next door under the same roof, the Fall Cottage Life Show is celebrating its 20th Anniversary as Canada’s largest cottage and outdoor living event . A one-stop resource for current and prospective cottagers, the show connects attendees with more than 200 leading brands and experts.

From cottage services, education, and free advice on building, buying and selling cottage property, to cold weather safety such as hyperthermia, and transforming your cottage home into a four-season escape. There are plenty of off-season deals on water toys, décor, cottage gear, and more to store away for next summer.

Plus, for winter enthusiasts, Rick’s Pro Ski Shop offers the latest ski equipment and gear to help you make the most of the season.

Make and Take Workshops


Make your own creative, thoughtful, and customized gifts and décor with engaging workshops:

  • Maggie Frith, Season 4 semi-finalist on The Great Canadian Baking Show and owner of The Magpie Cakery hosts two different sessions: DIY cookie wreaths and holiday sugar cookie decorating 101
  • Take part in a glass ornament succulent terrarium workshop or try your hand at preserved moss art with Hasmig Royan, of Green Garden Interiors. 
  • Build a 3D candy cane Christmas countdown sign, with step-by-step instruction by Crafty Crystal.
  • Make adorable wooden holiday presents, guided by Restored Décor’s Breanna McNeill.

Seasons Stage

The packed lineup of expert talks and demonstrations offers ample inspiration for creative, handmade and time-saving entertaining, decorating and gifting: 

  • Home and lifestyle expert and TV host, Sarah Gunn demonstrates creative gift wrapping techniques, festive décor, and effortlessly stylish tablespaces that are sure to impress guests.
  • Chef Jo Lusted’s holiday hacks feature simple shortcuts and time-saving tips for stress-free holiday entertaining.
  • Learn the art of creating stunning grazing boards for a beautiful centrepiece for your holiday entertaining with Chef Thomas Armstrong.
  • On-air fashion and décor personality, Lynn Spence is sharing her top gifts for everyone on your list, right from the show floor.
  • Green thumb, Hasmig Royan of Green Garden Interiors shows how to decorate with live plants.

Main Stage

The lineup of expert speakers will help visitors celebrate the holidays in style at the cottage, plan their next renovation project, as well as provide essential information to stay safe by the water throughout the colder months. 

  • Hall of Fame Q&A with Michelle Kelly, Editor of Cottage Life magazine. The editorial team reveals the top questions sent to the magazine’s popular Q&A column.
  • Siblings, contractors and TV personalities Michael Holmes Jr. and Sherry Holmes take on a hot wings challenge while they answer burning questions about filming their new series Holmes on Holmes: Building a Legacy with dad, Mike Holmes, airing Tuesdays on Cottage Life (premieres Nov. 12). Plus, they’ll answer home renovation questions from the crowd. 
  • Learn creative ways to bring cottage charm to your holiday décor, from greenery and cozy textiles, to vintage pieces and DIY decorations with demos from decorators Sarah Gunn and Jackie Morra.
  • The Ask the Experts panel of home building professionals answer audience questions about how to build a cottage.
  • Ian Gilson from the Canadian Safe Boating Council shares vital information on ice and cold water safety to help winter enthusiasts prevent and respond to hypothermia.
