TORONTO, June 12, 2026 — This weekend, more than 4,800 riders from across Canada and around the world will take part in the 19th annual Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Ride, presented by Johnson & Johnson, on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14. Riders, cancer survivors, volunteers, and supporters will unite across 3 locations and 2 days to Carry The Fire for patients and their loved ones.
Media are invited to cover Canada’s largest athletic fundraiser supporting life-saving cancer research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre — one of the world’s leading cancer research and treatment centres, where more than 1,600 researchers and staff are working on the next breakthroughs in early detection, innovative treatment, and comprehensive support.
This year’s Ride features six unique routes, one- or two-day ride options, and three host communities across Ontario. Riders include cancer survivors with yellow flags, first-time participants, longtime riders returning for their 19th Ride, caregivers, families, healthcare workers, researchers, and supporters united by a common goal: to change how cancer is understood, prevented, diagnosed, and treated.
The Ride’s opening ceremonies and mass rider send-off will create a powerful visual moment as thousands of cyclists depart together in support our mission to create a world free from the fear of cancer.
