Award-winning winter exhibition runs November 27, 2026 to January 31, 2027, with 32 AR art experiences, an indoor artist showcase, opening-weekend activities, carollers, Santa photos and a special CORPUS performance
TORONTO, November 3, 2026 — The Junction will once again become an open-air art gallery this winter as Window Wonderland returns for its seventh season from November 27, 2026, to January 31, 2027. The award-winning exhibition will feature 32 augmented-reality (AR) art experiences throughout the neighbourhood, alongside a new indoor artist showcase and free seasonal programming. Visitors are invited to discover art, explore local businesses and experience the magic of The Junction throughout the winter season.
Created by The Junction Business Improvement Area (BIA) in partnership with Artivive, Window Wonderland is a free, self-guided exhibition that brings art, movement and digital storytelling to Dundas Street West. Using the free Artivive app, visitors can scan participating window artworks and wall murals to unlock animations and sound that bring storefront displays to life.
Window Wonderland 2026/2027 features 20 new storefront window installations and 12 year-round AR wall murals by local and international artists. This year’s theme, Movement + Glimmers, celebrates the energy of the neighbourhood and the small moments of joy, connection and winter wellness that bring communities together.
“Window Wonderland has always been about finding new ways to experience art, our main street and each other during the winter months. This year’s theme, Movement + Glimmers, gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate both the energy of the neighbourhood and those small moments of connection and joy that make a community feel like home,” says Carol Jolly, Executive Director of The Junction BIA.

In addition to the outdoor AR exhibition, Window Wonderland will offer a range of FREE programming and special experiences throughout the season, including:
- Indoor Artist Showcase: Discover 16 original works by eight Window Wonderland artists at Latitude 44 Gallery from November 27, 2026, to January 31, 2027, during gallery hours. Extending the exhibition beyond the street, the showcase offers visitors an opportunity to experience the artists’ work in a traditional gallery setting, with all pieces available for purchase.
- McGregor Carollers: Get into the holiday spirit with the McGregor Carollers as they roam The Junction with festive music on November 29, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. They’ll return on December 6 at Dundas Street West and Pacific Avenue, outside MEDS Junction Pharmacy (2956 Dundas St. W.), from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Photos with Santa: Families can capture a holiday memory on December 5 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Petti Fine Foods (3077 Dundas St W Unit 1) and December 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at MEDS Junction Pharmacy (2956 Dundas St W)
