Attendees get to view two distinctive 4Runner models on display at the Toyota exhibit
TORONTO, Feb. 7, 2025 — Toyota returns to the Canadian International AutoShow for 2025, debuting the highly anticipated all-new 2025 Toyota 4Runner. For the first time, Canadians will have the opportunity to explore this brand new vehicle up close.
“It’s great to have Toyota join us for another year at the show,” says Jason Campbell, General Manager of the AutoShow. “The 4Runner has been an iconic vehicle for the brand, and we’re thrilled for attendees to experience the 2025 model, making its Canadian debut at the AutoShow.”
The sixth generation 4Runner builds on the legendary SUV’s reputation for go-anywhere capability and authenticity, offering eight grades tailored to a broad range of lifestyles. Among them is the first-ever 4Runner Hybrid, built around Toyota’s i-FORCE MAX electrified powertrain, which produces 326 hp and up to 465 lb-ft of torque, while delivering impressive fuel efficiency. This new vehicle continues to push boundaries with an all-new Platinum grade providing a more elevated experience, plus the Trailhunter grade for those seeking adventure.
Attendees will have the chance to view two distinctive 4Runner models on display at the Toyota exhibit, which include:
- 4Runner Limited – This seven-passenger legendary SUV is filled with comfort and amenities
- 4Runner i-FORCE MAX Trailhunter – This top-grade five-passenger ultimate SUV is specially designed for overlanding, factory-fitted with a rugged and ready package of off-roading equipment
Editor’s note
I have always had a soft spot for the 4Runner, a perfect blend of being able to fit every thing and every one, rugged yet tasteful design, and a fairly decent safety record. I know some people complain that it can be underpowered and sluggish, but it easily makes my top 5 list of mid-sized SUV choices.
It is important to note that the 4Runner will not be the only Toyota demanding attention at this year’s auto show.
Toyota will be showcasing its full range of vehicles
In addition to the 4Runner, Toyota will be showcasing its full range of vehicles, offering a variety of options to suit different lifestyles, needs, and budgets.
