Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!

Large hail

Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

Better weather on Sunday and Canada Day Monday

The good news is, things should be brighter for Sunday and Canada Day, so the weather is not expected to rain on our parades (pun intended). Sunday will be partly cloudy with a high of 19 degreees celsius while on Canada Day Monday it will be a perfectly sunny day with a high of 22 degrees celsius!

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #ONStorm. For more information: ontario.ca/page/be-prepared-emergency.
