The Nutcracker Celebrates 30 Years of Magic in Toronto

TORONTO, November 11, 2025 — The Nutcracker, choreographed by James Kudelka, celebrates 30 magical years! The National Ballet of Canada’s holiday favourite has captivated Toronto audiences since 1995 and is a cherished tradition for many. The adventure begins at a Christmas Eve party in a 19th-century barn and introduces siblings Marie and Misha as they journey from the Land of Snow to the glittering land of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Set to Tchaikovsky’s famous score and featuring magnificent sets and costumes by Santo Loquasto and lighting by Jennifer TiptonThe Nutcracker is an unforgettable tribute to the imagination.

Tickets
A wide selection of pricing is available on all levels. Tickets start at $71 for adults and $59 for children 13 and under and vary by performance date. Please note that prices are subject to change without notice.

Standing room tickets are $12 and are available for all shows from 11:00 am on the day of the performance with promo code STAND. Tickets can be purchased online and collected in person at the box office with valid ID.
