The One Of A Kind Winter Show: North America’s largest craft show returns Nov. 21
The flagship Show features unique experiences and gifts made with intention from 600+ local Canadian artisans
TORONTO, November 13, 2024 – North America’s largest and most anticipated craft show, the One Of A Kind Winter Show, kicks off on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Enercare Centre in Toronto. Featuring over 600 of Canada’s most talented artisans, the One Of A Kind Show has been pushing the boundaries of creativity since its inception in 1975.
From art to apparel, food to furniture, the One Of A Kind Show showcases thousands of unique creations made with love by Canadian artisans. This holiday season, make a significant impact by shopping small – no mass production, just pure artistry. “At One Of A Kind, we champion creativity by bringing together a community to share ideas, stories, and unique creations, celebrating the rich culture of craft that unites us all,” says Janice Leung, One Of A Kind Show Director. “We aim to foster an environment that supports our local talent while also inspiring visitors to celebrate their individuality and creative expression.”
The One Of A Kind Winter Show is more than just a shopping destination; it’s a holiday experience to explore Canadian artisans, embrace your creativity, and craft a unique masterpiece in interactive workshops. The One Of A Kind Show offers unique daily programming, including an artisan competition, fashion shows, main stage speakers, and creative workshops. The Main Stage will feature speakers and programs, including Breakfast Television’s Meredith Shaw, storytime with Fay & Fluffy, a performance by the 2SLGBTQQIA+ choir Singing Out, and a selection of authors from Penguin Random House. In addition to this exciting lineup, attendees can enjoy classic and new programming, including One Of A Kind Winter Show (Taylor’s Version), Silver Monday, Community Day, Transit Wednesday, and After Hours (Après Ski Edition).
To further its commitment to the local community, the One Of A Kind Show is running various initiatives, such as encouraging donations to the Daily Bread Food Bank, which provides fresh and shelf-stable food to over 200 programs across Toronto to combat hunger and poverty. The show also invites customers to “pay it forward” by purchasing tickets for newcomers to Canada, allowing them to attend free of charge. In partnership with New Circles Community Services, this initiative helps new immigrants connect with their community and find inspiration through creativity. Additionally, the Indigenous Attendee Program offers complimentary admission.
