Turo, GO Transit’s official car sharing partner invites Union Station visitors to its Skywalk pop-up

Toronto, ON, July 17, 2023 – With summer in full swing and Torontonians always in search of their next warm weather adventure, and now Turo, Canada’s leading peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace is inviting Union Station visitors to check out its immersive Skywalk pop-up. 

To celebrate the announcement of Turo as GO Transit’s official car sharing partner, the activation is designed to inspire travellers to explore Turo’s expansive selection of cars and find their drive. Visitors can experience first-hand how Turo connects its users with extraordinary experiences. Lucky guests are invited to download the Turo app to enter to win a Grand Prize valued at $2500, inclusive of Turo credits and a weekend stay at a luxury Ontario accommodation.

Complementing each others’ services, the joint effort between Turo and GO Transit will strengthen Ontario’s transportation system by allowing riders to request vehicle delivery at GO stations across the Greater Golden Horseshoe and easily reach their desired post-train or bus trip destination.

Coinciding with peak summer travel, long weekends, and the Blue Jays season, the activation will be live during the following dates/times: 

July 

  • July 28 (9am – 8pm) 
  • July 29 (10am – 8pm) 
  • July 30-31 (9am – 8pm) 

August 

  • August 1- 2 (9am – 8pm) 
  • August 3 (10am – 8pm) 
  • August 11 (9am – 8pm) 
  • August 12 (10am – 8pm) 
  • August 13 (9am – 7pm) 
  • August 24 – 26 (9am – 8pm) 
  • August 27th, 8AM – 6PM (no longer 10AM-8PM)  

Brand ambassadors will be present on-site to share more information about Turo and how its partnership with GO Transit is extending Ontarians’ access to convenient transportation beyond GO’s network.

Designed for ease of use, travellers can download the Turo app, available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, or visit the Turo website and search for a GO station to find vehicles available for pick up at their desired location.
