Upcoming sports competitions in Canada
It’s a new year, and you already know what that means if you live in Canada – different sport competitions are starting or restarting. So today, we want to look at a few of those upcoming sports competitions in Canada.

1. Cross Country Skiing
Cross country skiing is a sport enjoyed a lot by Canadians, and if you are one of such Canadians, then we have good news for you. On the 11th of February, the Telemark Nordic Club will be hosting a cross country skiing competition. So, make sure you make your way to West Kelowna that weekend and enjoy every bit of it.
2. Canadian Birkebeiner Ski Festival
Well, if you can’t make your way to British Columbia, then you should consider heading to Edmonton that same weekend for not one, but 3 days of skiing!
It starts on the 10th of February and goes on until the 12th. If you ask us, it’s a good weekend getaway plan if you and your partner are big fans of skiing. A good way to usher in Valentine’s week, don’t you think?
3. Outdoor Sports/RV Show
If you already have plans for the weekend before Valentine’s, then maybe you should make plans for a month after that.
The Atlantic Outdoor Sports and RV Show will be happening between the 10th and 12th of March at Goodwood, Ontario, and it will involve motorsports, fishing, hunting, camping, you know, all that good stuff.
If you’re about that outdoor life, then this is definitely for you. Don’t miss it!
4. Calgary/Edmonton Golf Show
Are you a big fan of golf? Then you already know that March is for you. The 2023 Calgary Golf Show will be happening on the 18th and 19th of March, so you know exactly where to be that weekend.
If you can’t make it that weekend, then plan to be at the Edmonton Golf Show on the 1st and 2nd of April.
As a golf fan, if you can make it for both, great. But just make sure you don’t miss both of them. You can’t afford to.
5. Fly Fishing at New Brunswick
If you’re an outdoorsy person, then you should start planning to make your way to Moncton, New Brunswick on the last weekend in March.
You will have great outdoor activities to be entertained with between the 24th and 26th of March, including fly fishing and hunting. It’s going to be huge; it’s going to be awesome. Start making space in your schedule for this one.
