Wasaga TikiTours is the area’s newest entirely unique way to cruise the waters on a unique charter boat experience departing from the Nottawasaga River floating out parallel to the beaches of Georgian Bay.

Yes, step aside car show and beach bum crowds, the hopping beach town is expected to have an even more colourful scene this summer.

And unlike their newly launched Ottawa Tiki Tours experience on the Ottawa River, this one is less than a two-hour drive from Toronto!

Imagine taking a relaxing tour up and down the picturesque Nottowasaga River on a Hawaiian style Tiki Hut with you and a bunch of your buds. Whether it’s  just hanging with friends or taking a romantic cruise, or a School Group Heritage Excursion, Wasaga Tiki Tours is one of the coolest and most unique ways to get out on the water! 

And of course it wouldn’t be a tiki bar without the fancy beverages and snacks. Aboard the floating exotic bars you can enjoy beer, wine, sangria, specialty drinks and specialty coffees along with virgin specialty drinks. There is also an assortment of salty snacks.

This floating Tiki Boat is the best way to experience the beautiful Nottowasaga River. They will be offering an amazing experience aboard an exclusive and unique 20 ft x 20 ft custom built Tiki Boat. Passengers will be envied on the water as they cruise the time away sipping drinks, listening or singing karaoke to their favourite tropical tunes!

Wasaga Tiki Tours coming this summer

The motor-run vessel accommodates up to twelve guests (and two crew) and is equipped with fully functioning washroom facilities, Bluetooth speaker, bar stools, flat screen TV, karaoke system and all necessary safety equipment. Passengers are invited to bring their own food and enjoy our selection of cocktails as our First Mate serves up a selection of Tropical drinks or other beverages.  Their captains are all small vessel certified and licensed by Transport Canada.

Covid has taken its toll on travel, so their philosophy is, “If you can’t make it to Hawaii, we will bring Hawaii to you!”. Many living in the Greater Toronto Area don’t have a boat but want to be on the water, or they simply want to try something new. Wasaga Tiki Boats will scratch that itch.

How much and how long is the Wasaga Tiki tour experience?

Rates Mon-Thur $80/ Per Person 120 min Tours* Fri-Sun $90/Per Person 120min Tours* The Tiki Boats will operate from Wasaga Tiki Tours @ 72 Main Street in Wasaga Beach. The boat will cruise down to the Nottowasaga River hugging the shore as onlookers’ hearts are filled with desire. 

Right now two tiki bar boats are expected to be in operation, and, Fleet Admirals Amanda and Guy PAtric (GP) are currently looking for Captains and First Mates to join their crew.

Fleet Admiral Amanda is currently serving in the CAF as a Medical Technician, she worked as an Operation Manager, and a General Manager for prominent corporations with intense training on customer service, inventory management, building standard operating policies, employee training and development. She knows the value of employees and how to enjoy the best of the beach!

Fleet Admiral is Guy Patric (GP) served 13 years in the CAF, 12 of those years were spent working in the entertainment field, recently graduated from the Event Management and Business Entrepreneurship Program, with his strong business and leadership capabilities, will ensure a good time for all. GP will bring the fun!

Before You GO take note

Arrive 15 minutes early and don’t forget we are a fully licensed Bar so we will be serving drinks. During the cruise, all e purchases are cashless (We have a square reader – so Tap Debit & Credit).  All our tours are Bring Your Own Food. See below for a list of recommendations. Please remember sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray, maybe a hat. A light jacket, long sleeve shirt or cover up might come in handy depending on weather. Children under 12 are welcome but must wear a lifejacket and are considered as a passenger.

ARE THERE LIFEJACKETS ON BOARD?

Yes, there is a type 1 PFD for every passenger. Along with all the coast guard requirements for the vessel including a first aid kit. 

CAN MORE THAN 12 PASSENGERS CRUISE AT ONE TIME?

The maximum capacity of our vessel is 12 passengers during a sailing. Infants are counted as a passenger and are ticketed. 

WHAT ABOUT TOILETS?

Our new tiki boats are 18′ in diameter. There is a 3′ x 6′ tiki-toilet located at the back of the vessel. 

HOW FAST DOES THE TIKI BOAT GO?

Average speed is 4-6 nautical miles per hour. 

CAN I GO SWIMMING?

Unfortunately, you can not swim off of the boat

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

We love dogs, as long as you are on a private charter and Fido has a pfd

DO YOU OPERATE IN THE RAIN??

We do operate in the rain as the tiki boats are covered. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions. This may include choppy water.

WHAT IS THE BEHAVIOURAL CODE OF CONDUCT?

You are responsible for staying under control and abiding by our behavioral agreement. If the Captain determines your behavior is inappropriate you will be removed from the tour without refund and appropriate measures will be taken. 

CAN I PAY ON THE DAY OF THE TOUR?

Yes, we do allow walk-up bookings and payment. Keep in mind that we do not guarantee there will be walk-up availability. When pre-booking, you must pay at the time of booking. You cannot reserve online and pay upon arrival.

CAN I SMOKE/VAPE ON THE TIKI BOAT?

Municipal by-law prohibits the smoking and vaping of tobacco, cannabis, and any other substance in public places and workplaces including our Tiki Boats. 

CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC ON BOARD?

Yes, we do have bluetooth-capable stereo systems that can sync to your phone and choice of music. Unless you chartered the whole boat, others  may not be fans of your playlist, in which case, we use ours.
