Applefest in Bayview Leaside recreates the spirit of the area’s apple farming history
TORONTO, Sept. 17, 2022 – The Bayview Leaside BIA has just announced that their 5th annual Applefest celebration will be held on Saturday, October 15th. The festive seasonal event taking place on Bayview Avenue from Parkhurst to Davisville channels the spirit and tradition of the area’s apple farming history.
On Saturday, October 15th, Applefest attendees will experience streets lined with bushels of apples and hay to recreate the feel of the area’s apple farming past.
Bayview Leaside’s Applefest is always a perfect autumnal opportunity to bring out the whole family for some great live entertainment, apple themed products, food sampling, face-painting and of course, lots of shopping!
From the Lea family farms of Leaside to the Lawrence family farms on the west, Bayview Leaside area is rich in apple history and proud of it!
