The best bathroom renovation companies in Toronto combine solid craftsmanship, clear communication and a design process that respects your budget and schedule. A compact condo update, a gut renovation in an older home and a spa-style ensuite each call for a different team.
This guide covers seven Toronto and GTA companies worth a quote. Each profile states who the company is, where it works, what it offers and who it suits.
How We Chose the Best Bathroom Renovation Companies in Toronto
- Years in business and a record of finished bathroom renovations
- A clear scope that covers demolition, plumbing, waterproofing, tile and finishing
- Design support and a showroom so homeowners can see materials and finishes in person
- Public reviews on Google, HomeStars and Houzz
- Professionalism, attention to detail and quality of workmanship

Bathroom Renovations Across the GTA
Bathroom renovations in Toronto often involve older homes with tight layouts, aging plumbing and decades-old tile waterproofing. North York projects often involve mid-century homes and condo towers where storage and functionality are the main goals.
Homeowners in Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill often renovate newer builds. These projects focus on layout changes, larger showers and finishes. Each company sets its own service area, so confirm that your contractor serves your city.
Condo Bathroom Renovations
Condo bathroom renovations require condo board approval in most buildings. Condo buildings set work hours and limit when materials can use the elevators.
Ask every contractor how they handle building approvals, protection of common areas and noise restrictions. Plan a longer schedule than you would for a house.
What to Ask Before You Hire
- Is the quote itemized by demolition, plumbing, waterproofing, tile, vanity and labour?
- Who manages the project day to day, and who do you call when something changes?
- Which permits apply under the Ontario Building Code and the City of Toronto, and who pulls them?
- Does the company carry WSIB coverage and liability insurance?
- What is the warranty on workmanship and waterproofing?
- Can you see recent projects similar to your vision?
