The Promenade Shopping Centre in Thornhill is about to get a serious fun upgrade! Opening Friday, May 30th at 5pm, Bowls & Blasters is a bold new 25,000 square-foot entertainment destination that’s rewriting the rules of family fun with a first of its kind, premium mix of bowling, bumper cars, laser tag, and arcade gaming—all under one vibrant roof.
This marks the debut of the first-ever Bowls & Blasters location, created by entertainment visionary Ali Chenari, a seasoned art director with over two decades of experience at Disney, Netflix, DreamWorks, and Nickelodeon.
With a passion for creating joyful, immersive experiences, Chenari brings a unique creative edge to the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) industry.
“We didn’t just build an arcade or a bowling alley,” says Chenari. “We created an imaginative playground where families, teens, and adults can connect, compete, and let loose. Bowls & Blasters is all about meaningful play—something the world could use more of.”
Anchored by state-of-the-art laser tag technology developed with insight from Chenari’s background as a professional gamer, the space offers multiple interactive zones carefully curated to appeal to all ages.
