The band have also announced details of a major North American and European headline tour which includes stops in Vancouver on September 13th, Toronto on September 21st, and Montreal on September 23rd. The tour will showcase their new album, VOLCANO, which was released on August 11th via AWAL.

Spinning timeless disco, soul, and hip hop elements into Jungle’s unmistakable future-facing production, “Candle Flame” features the distinctive rapid fire rhymes of Erick The Architect and shimmers with the bold, exuberant energy that will no doubt make it an instant live favourite when Jungle head out on tour later this year. The duo’s euphoric, full-live band show will grace some of their biggest venues to date including arena shows across America and Europe and several shows in Canada.

Jungle’s self-titled breakthrough debut album became an instant classic, leading to a Mercury Prize nomination, which they followed with the album For Ever before amplifying their success with Loving In Stereo – all contributing to a total of over a billion streams to date. Loving In Stereo (2021), proved to be a landmark moment for the acclaimed UK duo. It achieved their highest domestic chart position to date, debuting at #3 and in the US it catapulted to #1 on the Billboard Dance Albums chart which led to major arena shows as guests to Billie Eilish.

Who are Jungle?

JUNGLE are lifelong friends from Shepherd’s Bush, London. Their self-titled breakthrough debut album became an instant classic, leading to a Mercury Prize nomination, which they followed with the album ‘For Ever’ before amplifying their success with ‘Loving In Stereo’ – all contributing to a total of over a billion streams to date.

Their extended live band has made them firm festival favourites, headlining Wilderness and South Facing as well as drawing huge crowds as far afield as Coachella and Lollapalooza Brazil, while headline shows have included Alexandra Palace and multiple nights at the O2 Academy Brixton.

Their visionary stylised and choreographed videos are also a major aspect of JUNGLE’s artistic identity, most notably with the ambitious visual narrative that spanned every track on ‘Loving In Stereo’.

In July, Jungle released first-of-its-kind interactive video

In late July, Jungle also shared a first-of-its-kind interactive video for their single ‘Back On 74’, the latest track to preview the British production duo’s fourth album ‘Volcano’ which follows on August 11th on Caiola Records/AWAL. The video is the latest drop in JUNGLE’s creative collaboration series with WeTransfer, and is available for 14 days exclusively at Jungle’s dedicated site within WeTransfer. It will be further promoted via WeTransfer’s global landing page, which is used by over 80 million monthly users across 190 countries around the world.

‘‘Back On 74’’ is the final taste of things to come before the release of the highly anticipated ‘Volcano’. The track combines lush soulful melodies with a backdrop that sees Jungle exploring the boundaries of their sound to create something uplifting and free-spirited and provides a juxtaposition to previous singles ‘I’ve Been In Love’ (ft. Channel Tres), ‘Dominoes’ and ‘Candle Flame’ (ft. Erick The Architect), all of which received widespread support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Radio 2and Apple Music 1.

While ‘Back On 74’ continues JUNGLE’s unique visual aesthetic with its intricately crafted choreography, audacious one-take photography and joyous merger between music and movement – it’s a film that breaks new ground within the music video world, thanks to the collaboration with WeTransfer’s in-house Creative Studio and Emmy Award-winning Nexus Studios.

The ‘Back On 74’ video is presented as a virtual art gallery, and each piece of art displayed can be downloaded by viewers in real-time. When an artwork is downloaded, it’s instantly replaced by a random choice of 10,000 other unique works, all of which were created by JUNGLE’s J Lloyd. As a result, the ‘Back On 74’ will constantly evolve with every watch and each interaction will again alter the experience for subsequent viewers.

When fans download a piece of artwork from the film, they also access the opportunities to win one of 100+ tickets for a show of their choice from JUNGLE’s upcoming European and North American headline tour.

Back On 74’ was directed by J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido, produced by WeTransfer, and was filmed at London’s legendary Alexandra Palace. The video represents the final drop from the JUNGLE and WeTransfer creative collaboration series that has previewed the release of ‘Volcano’. The project has been designed to enable JUNGLE to connect with their fans directly by offering a range of exclusive content from WeTransfer for free download. These have included backgrounds, wallpapers, and ringtones for mobile phones; music stems for a remix competition; and a zine featuring behind-the-scenes material.

Anticipation for the ‘Volcano’ album was recently heightened with the news that the full-length film, ‘Volcano’The Motion Picture’ will premiere exclusively on the JUNGLE fan club from August 11th (fans can access the film HERE). A range of ‘Volcano’ physical album formats, bundles and merch designs are also available HERE.

JUNGLE will perform to a total of more than 190,000 people across their 2023 tour, which starts with a landmark London festival headline set at All Points East on August 26th. They will then take their euphoric, full-live band show across America and Europe on a tour which includes numerous arena dates.
