TORONTO, Oct. 16, 2026 – Don’t stop believin’: one of rock’s most enduring bands is almost here. Journey plays Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 4, as part of an extended run of its Final Frontier Tour, billed as “An Evening With Journey.”
After more than five decades of arena-shaking performances and hits, the band added 40 more North American dates this fall, bringing its farewell tour to more cities. The new leg opened Sept. 12 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and wraps with a hometown finale on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Chase Center in San Francisco. Toronto is the band’s only Ontario stop on the extension, and its first Toronto date on the tour. Journey played nearby Hamilton’s TD Coliseum in March. Tickets for Toronto are available through Ticketmaster.ca.
What to expect
The Final Frontier Tour launched Feb. 28 in Hershey, Pa., and has been playing packed arenas with a hit-filled set celebrating the band’s career. Night after night, fans have heard timeless classics such as “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Faithfully,” and “Lights.”
Reviews of the tour have been warm. USA Today wrote that “there is no arguing the durability of Journey’s catalog, and this (likely) goodbye offered a fulfilling travelogue of the band’s career.” Ultimate Classic Rock reported that the band opened the run in front of a packed house and, “as promised, they turned in a long night of fan favorites and deep cuts.”
“The energy has been incredible every night,” said founder Neal Schon. “Seeing these crowds sing these songs with us after all these years has been powerful. We’re excited to bring The Final Frontier Tour to even more cities this fall.”
Keyboardist Jonathan Cain added: “These songs continue to connect with people in such a meaningful way. We’re grateful for the fans who’ve supported this music across generations.”
Lead vocalist Arnel Pineda said: “The fans have been incredible. Every night feels like a celebration, and we’re excited to share that experience with even more cities.”

Journey by the numbers
Since forming in 1973, Journey has earned 19 top 40 singles and 25 gold and platinum albums, and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. Its “Greatest Hits” album is certified 15 times platinum, making the band one of the few in history to reach diamond certification, and “Don’t Stop Believin'” has surpassed one billion streams globally.
The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame. Its co-headlining tour with Def Leppard ranked among the year’s top global tours and earned Billboard’s “Legends of Live” award. The documentary Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey chronicles the band’s resurgence after Schon discovered Pineda on YouTube.
