Comedy Records to release Christmas With A K A Christmas Album, by Letterkenny’s K Trevor Wilson

Comedy Records will release Christmas With A K by K Trevor Wilson A Christmas comedy album, on Friday, December 6, 2019. The album will be released digitally, as well as on vinyl and a double LP through KTrevorWilson.com, ComedyRecords.ca, and independent record stores.

Christmas With A K is a funny and festive mix of stand-up, music, and sketch comedy by K Trevor Wilson. Known by fans across North America as Squirrelly Dan on Crave TV’s Letterkenny, K TrevorWilson welcomes audiences into his home for Christmas as he embarrasses his mother at church, and tries to figure out how shopping mall Santas ever became a thing. 

Christmas With A K also features Christmas songs – with the K Trev twist – such as “Baby it’s Cold Outside” (2019 Edition) featuring Jenna Warriner, and “Auld Lang Syne” (Quintessential Sing-Along Version) featuring Curtis Diehl, Cameron Wyllie, and Maresa Lee. Christmas With A K also includes a variety of stand up sets recorded live at Rumor’s Comedy Club in Winnipeg, sketch comedy performances by K Trevor Wilson, Curtis Diehl, and Cameron Wyllie, and musical tracks with performances by Chris Tsujiuchi on Christmas keyboard, Ross MacIntyre on Christmas bass, Robin Claxton on Christmas drums, and Thomas Moffett on Christmas trumpet. K Trevor Wilson has spent over 20 years in entertainment as an actor, writer, sketch and stand-up comedian.

In addition to Letterkenny, he has also appeared on What Would Sal Do, Showcases’ Billable Hours, NBC’s Darcy’s Wild Life and A&E’s Breakout Kings. He has also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Roast Battles.

K Trevor Wilson’s first comedy album, SexCop FirePenis, was named Best Taped Live Performance at the Canadian Comedy Awards. His follow up Sorry! (A Canadian Album) hit number one on iTunes Comedy Release charts and was nominated for the Comedy Album of the Year at the Juno Awards.

Comedy Records is Canada’s first record label dedicated to releasing stand up and sketch comedy albums. Established in Toronto in 2010, the label has produced several releases, which have reached the top of the iTunes Comedy and Google Play charts and been featured on Conan and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
