East Room, the design and hospitality-forward shared workspace provider, has announced that it’s heading to Toronto’s west side, with a look at its third location opening March 2024 at 68 Claremont Street. Mirroring the unique and laid-back ambiance coupled with upscale hospitality seen at the brand’s initial two sites on Carroll Street and King Street in Toronto’s east end, the new East Room will introduce additional perks and amenities.

Nestled on a tree-lined street in one of Toronto’s trendiest neighbourhoods, Queen West, 68 Claremont will offer 30,635 sq. ft. of beautiful co-working space, including 68 offices for both small and large teams, boardrooms and signature lounge areas, three kitchens and a patio space. Also new to 68 Claremont will be the introduction of three-person offices. Steps away from retail shops, cafes and restaurants, and, of course, Trinity Bellwoods Park, East Room at 68 Claremont will bring an enriching work environment for brands, businesses and entrepreneurs based in the west.

“The demand for conventional office setups has waned for both employers and employees. In this evolving landscape, spaces need not only be dynamic but also boast exceptional design, thoughtful programming, and top-notch services,” shared Derreck Martin, Co-Founder and President of East Room. “The key is to create an environment that not only inspires innovation and creativity, but also fosters genuine community and meaningful connections – and we’re so thrilled to bring these principles, and East Room’s ethos, to the west end of the city.”

New for 2024, East Room will be collaborating with Forno Cultura on an exclusive bar/cafe that will plug into the west end location, as well as its two east-end locations, offering delectable options for its members.

The development of the space has been completed in partnership with Dream.

East Room membership options also include a Club Membership, which provides access to onsite staff, amenities, social areas of their buildings, like bars and cafes, as well as events and programming. East Room programming to date has included concerts from artists like Daniel Caesar, Khruangbin, Nick Hakim, Charlotte Day Wilson, Connan Mockasin and more.

More information on the new 68 Claremont location, and memberships, is now available at eastroom.com.
