With the rise in the Cryptocurrency frenzy, the number of new Cryptocurrencies, that is Altcoins, is also increasing. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two Cryptocurrencies with the largest market cap, and they can be traded on platforms too. However, other than these two, there are several more Altcoins you can invest in to earn profits. Here are 5 Altcoins except for Ethereum that you can invest in.

1. Ripple (XRP)

A global network, Ripple aids in financial transaction networks that help transactions between other financial institutions and banks. It was designed as a cheaper, faster, and more secure network for the SWIFT aka Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications system. The native Cryptocurrency is designed to be used on the XRP Ledger blockchain and the Ripple network. The transaction time for an average transaction in XRP is about 5 seconds, and the transaction fee is less than 1 percent.

2. Solana (SOL)

A comparatively new Cryptocurrency, Solana, was launched in March 2020. Even though it was just launched, SOL has gathered considerable popularity and is the 6th most valuable Crypto in the market if Stablecoins are excluded. It has a market cap of $31 billion, and it supports NFTs and dApps. It has a PoH and PoS system of transaction verification that makes it stand out, gives cheaper and faster transactions. It is also a better option for the environment as it leaves behind a smaller carbon footprint than other Cryptocurrencies.

3. Polkadot (DOT)

This Cryptocurrency is also relatively new and was launched in 2020. The Polkadot blockchain permanently records all the transactions on the leading network today. The reason behind Polkadot is its very unique feature. This feature is parachains, which are Blockchains that the users can create and still have similar security measures as the original Polkadot chain. Different parachains can be customized for other uses, but the network needs enough resources to operate on the main chain.

4. Litecoin (LTC)

Designed to be the second-largest Cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, Litecoin was launched in 2011. Litecoin has a faster speed in terms of block generation compared to Bitcoin. This also means a quicker transaction time for Litecoin. In the last three years, the Cryptocurrency Litecoin’s price has tripled, but it has also lost a lot of its market to Ethereum and Bitcoin.

5. FTX Token (FTT)

FTT is the native token to FTX, which is an international Cryptocurrency derivative exchange. FTX users have lesser transaction fees and earn an interest making FTT a profitable investment. FTT has shown an exponential rise in its prices compared to other Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Its value is on a constant surge, unlike other Cryptocurrencies in the market right now.

To conclude, these were 5 Altcoins other than Ethereum that can be invested in for a profit to the investor. Even though Bitcoin and Ethereum have the most oversized market caps, these Altcoins are also profitable investments for traders.
