Gourmet Escape: Visit Kinsale Ireland with Chef Gerardo d’Amore (video)
The coastal town of Kinsale in the Republic of Ireland is often referred to as the Culinary Capital of Ireland. In this Gourmet Escape, Chef Gerardo D’Amore connects with Ireland’s own Master Chef – Martin Shanahan. His restaurant, “Fishy Fishy’” is well known by all in Ireland.
The daily catch is brought in from the ocean (that is at his front door steps), prepared and on to the table shortly after it is caught. Can’t get any fresher than that!
Chef Gerardo goes out with Chef Martin and gathers the organic ingredients from the sea and the nearby land to prepare a delectable Irish meal… this includes a visit and lesson on Ireland’s most famous whiskey.
