TORONTO, September 15, 2023 – Platinum certified, and recognized as the highest selling Canadian band in country music, High Valley has released their newest single, “Small Town Somethin’” via Cage Free Music/The Orchard, today. The song pays tribute to the band’s fans that have supported them over the course of their career.

“This song is for everybody who embodies that small town mentality,” says Brad Rempel. “Hard to put a finger on it, but there’s something special about these fans that have fueled our career from day one. We can’t wait to hear them sing this one real loud!”

The single serves as the first release off their forthcoming EP, with the same name due to be released February 2, 2024. Looking back at their career of over 25 years, the common threads of gratitude and reflection come out in each song.

“The theme of this project is thankfulness. The tracks ‘Countin’ ‘Em Up’ and of course, ‘Small Town Somethin,’ really deliver the ‘thank you’ we’ve always wanted to share with our fans,” Rempel shares. “When putting together this EP, I took the time to reflect on my own life and songs like ‘Buy a Boy a Baseball’ and ‘Not Yet’ are two that really hammer home my passion for the life I’m living with my family and how I’m dead set on trying to squeeze out every ounce of time I can find with them. Then the songs ‘Blood’ and ‘Solid Ground’ really focus on my faith and family, two things I am the most grateful for.”
