Niagara Falls, ON) Beginning December 26 and continuing each night through to January 1, fireworks will return with spectacular displays over Niagara Falls this holiday season, adding to events and celebrations taking place across Canada’s Entertainment Capital. And that’s not all that’s happening just an hour down the QEW from Toronto as New Year’s Eve concerts, shows and the Ontario Power Generation Festival of Lights will help to make the season bright.

Fireworks dates and times

December 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and January 1 at 10:00 PM each night
December 31 (New Year’s Eve) at 9:00 PM and Midnight

An iconic, signature experience for the destination, there’s nothing like the sight of fireworks over the brink of the Falls to make a memorable trip even more unforgettable. The fireworks series over Niagara Falls typically takes place throughout the summer and during the Winter Festival of Lights and select other holidays throughout the year.

Where to view Niagara fireworks

The fireworks displays can be enjoyed from multiple vantage points across Niagara Falls. These include outdoor spaces throughout Niagara Parks, high above at the Skylon Tower and Niagara SkyWheel, and indoors at the many hotels and restaurants with views of the Falls throughout the tourism districts.

The fireworks complement exciting events including the 39th annual OPG Winter Festival of Lights and new Niagara Falls Music Live events taking place in the Niagara Falls. Don’t miss the nightly illumination of the Falls for a majestic backdrop to the fireworks.
